Abstract:
A test device for testing a substance of interest, i.e., an analyte, on the basis of illuminating light that acts on the substance, comprising a light detection unit (13) which has multiple photoelectric conversion sections having different spectral sensitivity properties from each other and receives illuminating light that acts on the substance, an operation condition decision unit (11) which decides the operation conditions for the light detection unit (13), a measurement control unit (12) which controls the light detection unit (13) on the basis of the operation conditions, and a color estimation processing unit (14) which performs a color estimation processing on the basis of an output from the light detection unit (13) that is controlled on the basis of the operation conditions, wherein the operation condition decision unit (11) decides the operation conditions on the basis of illumination information that relates to illuminating light to be emitted to the substance and/or substance information that relates to the substance.
