Abstract:

Test equipment of engine motoring comprising a mechanism (30) for carrying an engine to/from a test position, a mechanism (40) for securing the engine carried to the test position, a coupling mechanism (60) for coupling a motor (50) directly with the engine and detecting the driving torque, an encoder (70) delivering a pulse signal becoming an operational reference in synchronism with rotation of the motor, a plurality of detection units (80-130) being driven reciprocatingly with respect to the engine secured at the test position so as to be free to join/separate or approach/recede, a control means (200) performing drive control variously, and a means (200) for making a decision whether the engine is normal or not by comparing information obtained from the plurality of detection units with predetermined reference information. Motoring test of the engine can thereby be carried out automatically.
