Abstract:
The present invention relates to a test socket which allows for ease of alignment. More particularly, the present invention relates to a test socket which allows for ease of alignment and which is interposed between a device to be inspected and an inspection apparatus so as to electrically connect terminals of the device to be inspected and pads of the inspection apparatus, the test socket comprising an alignment member having multiple through-holes at the points corresponding to the terminals of the device to be inspected or to the pads of the inspection apparatus, the alignment member being attached to the inspection apparatus such that the through-holes can be located at the respective pads of the inspection apparatus; and an elastic conductive sheet including conductive parts arranged at the points corresponding to the terminals of the device to be inspected, the conductive part having multiple conductive particles distributed in an insulating elastic material, an insulating support part for supporting each conductive part and disconnecting an electrical connection between the adjacent conductive parts, and protruding conductive parts protruding downwardly from the conductive parts so as to be inserted into the through-holes of the alignment member. When the protruding conductive parts are inserted into the through-holes of the alignment member, the elastic conductive sheet can be aligned.
