Abstract:
A testing circuit for a cascaded converter multi-submodule. A current generator (1) provides a testing current to a tested module group (2); the tested module group (2) comprises two tested bridge arms (201) consisting of multiple tested submodules and connected in series, or the tested module group (2) consists of one or more tested units (202) that are connected in series, wherein each tested unit (202) comprises two tested submodules that are reversely connected in series. Further provided are a testing system for a cascaded converter submodule, a current control method for the testing system, and a testing method applicable to the cascaded converter submodule under the nearest level approximation modulation. The working condition simulation of the cascaded converter submodule in rectification and inversion operation modes can be implemented, and multiple submodules can be simultaneously tested. The structure that the submodules are reversely connected in series can counteract a direct-current component in a capacitor voltage, and the requirement for testing the required power supply voltage is greatly reduced.
