Abstract:
Provided is a semiconductor testing device having testing units for testing devices under test and serial transmission units for transmitting data to a control unit which controls the testing units. The serial transmission unit has data transmission units for transmitting multiple sets of data in a predetermined order, a retransmission control unit that causes the data to be retransmitted, and an expected confirmation ID value storage unit for storing expected confirmation ID values for identification data to be attached to confirmation signals received by the transmitting side. The retransmission control unit determines the necessity of retransmission based on retransmission count information, which indicates whether or not transmitted data are retransmitted data, and the expected confirmation ID values stored in the expected confirmation ID value storage unit.
