Abstract:

A testing instrument according to the present invention is used for measuring a predetermined component in a body fluid, and has a reagent layer structure including: a first reagent that reacts with a predetermined component in the body fluid or promotes reaction with the predetermined component in the body fluid; and a second reagent that reacts incidentally to the reaction of the first reagent, wherein the reagent layer structure includes a reagent separation layer in which the first reagent and the second reagent are arranged in such a manner as to be separated from each other.
