Abstract:

A novel tetraazaporphyrin compound is disclosed which is bright blue and highly soluble in solvents. The tetraazaporphyrin compound is represented by the following general formula (1). (In the formula (1), the rings expressed as A¹, A², A³ and A⁴ are independently represent XX or YY, and at least one of A¹, A², A³ and A⁴ is YY; R¹ and R² independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; and n is an integer of 1-4. R¹ and R² cannot be hydrogen atoms at the same time. The rings A¹, A², A³ and A⁴ may further have a substituent other than -SO₂NR¹R².)
