Abstract:
The present invention is: a tetracyclododecene ring-opened polymer hydride characterized by containing at least 40 wt% of a repeating unit (A) derived from tetracyclododecene with respect to all the repeating units, and the meso dyad fraction in the repeating unit (A) being at least 65%; and a method for producing same. By means of the present invention, provided are: a crystalline tetracyclododecene ring-opened polymer hydride exhibiting superior heat resistance and workability, even after molding by means of melt molding, and having a high melting point and a high glass transition point; and a method for producing same.
