Abstract:

The present invention relates to a tetrapeptide represented by the following chemical formulas 1 and 2, and a skin antiaging, skin wrinkle alleviating and anti-inflammatory cosmetic composition containing the same as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the tetrapeptide alleviates wrinkles by inhibiting the generation of MMPs, which are collagenase, and suppresses inflammation, and thus provides a cosmetic material having excellent wrinkle and inflammation alleviation. Particularly, the wrinkle alleviating and anti-inflammatory tetrapeptide can be used by being added to various basic cosmetic compositions in the form of a toner, a lotion, a cream, a foundation, an essence, a gel, a pack, a foam cleanser, a body oil, a lip stick, a mascara, a makeup base, a soap, or the like, does not irritate the skin, and is remarkably safe for the skin. [Chemical formula 1] R-R1-Gly-Leu-Phe [Chemical formula 2] R-Gly-Leu-Phe-R2 (In chemical formulas 1 and 2, R is H, a C1-C18 acyl group, or an alkenyl group having at least one double bond, Leu can be D-Leu or L-Leu, and Phe can be D-Phe or L-Phe. In addition, a moiety represented by R1 and R2 in chemical formulas 1 and 2 can be selected from amino acids, particularly, 20 natural amino acids and phenylglycine, which is an unnatural amino acid, and the C terminal can be in the form of a carboxylic acid or an amide.)
