Abstract:

Tetrazole compounds represented by general formula (1): (wherein A represents an optionally Ra-substituted C¿1-10? alkyl or the like; B represents a direct bond, O, NR?1¿, (C(R?4¿)(R?5¿))m, C(O), OC(O), C(O)CH¿2?, S(O)nCH¿2? ou S(O)n; m is 1 to 4 while n is 0, 1 or 2; D represents N(R?2¿), (R?3¿) or an optionally Rc-substituted heteroaryl; Ra represents a halogen atom, nitro or the like; and heteroaryl represents an aromatic heterocycle); and a pest control agent containing the above compound as the active ingredient. The compound, when used as the active ingredient of disinfectants, insecticides, and/or miticides, exhibits high activity at a low dose.
