A tetrazolinone compound shown by formula (1) [in the formula, R1, R2, R3, R6, R7, R8, R9, R10, and R11 each independently represent a C1-C6 alkyl group, etc., optionally having one or more halogen atoms; R4 and R5 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, etc.; Q represents any one group selected from group P2 (where this group may have one or more atoms or groups selected from group P1); and X represents an oxygen atom or sulfur atom] has an exceptional effect for controlling pests.
