Abstract:
This text communication system comprises: a first screen display unit that, on a prescribed screen of a first portable terminal that starts communication by speaking, when pressing of a prescribed first button for calling the communication partner is detected, switches the prescribed screen to a first screen including a first input region for inputting text and a first display region for displaying text input by a communication partner, and displays the first screen on the first portable terminal; a second screen display unit that, when pressing of the prescribed first button is detected, displays, on a second portable terminal of the communication partner, an incoming call screen including a prescribed second button for answering a call from the first portable terminal; and a screen switching unit that, when pressing of a prescribed second button is detected, switches the incoming call screen to a second screen including a second input region for inputting text and a second display region for displaying text input to the first input region.
