Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel therapeutic agent and treatment method for amyotrophic disorders, more specifically, a therapeutic agent and treatment method for neurogenic atrophy disorders such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and for myogenic atrophy disorders such as sarcopenia and disuse atrophy. Provided is a therapeutic agent for amyotrophic disorders that includes compounds represented by general formula (I), general formula (II), and general formula (III), and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of pharmaceutically acceptable salts of the abovementioned compounds when R3 represents OH.
