Abstract:
This substance, which specifically binds to the PEX domain (hemopexin domain) of MT1-MMP (MMP-14) and inhibits a MT1-MMP-mediated survival signal to active hepatic stellate cells (aHSCs), can reduce or kill the active hepatic stellate cells (aHSCs) and can thus treat tissue fibrosis developed in the liver, etc.
