Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a prophylactic or therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases, which can inhibit the function of an inflammatory cytokine and therefore can exhibit an anti-inflammatory effect. The present invention relates to a prophylactic or therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases, which contains 2-deoxy-D-glucose or a derivative thereof as an active ingredient and can inhibit the function of an inflammatory cytokine.
