Therapeutic or preventive agents for ischemic neuropathy containing as the active ingredient compounds represented by the general formula [2]: wherein R1 and R4 are each independently hydrogen, carboxy, or alkoxycarbonyl; and R2 and R5 are each independently hydrogen, hydroxy, or acyloxy.
