Abstract:
A therapeutic tool equipped with: a pair of clamping parts capable of opening and closing to clamp biological tissue using a pair of opposing clamping surfaces; an energy output section provided on at least one of the pair of clamping parts and providing an energy application surface for applying energy to the biological tissue as at least one of the pair of clamping surfaces; a cutting member, which is capable of advancing and retracting inside the clamping parts and is for cutting the biological tissue; a guiding groove, which has a recessed section on the energy application surface and guides the cutting member inside the clamping parts so as to allow advancement and retraction; and a gap-maintaining part, which is disposed to be adjacent to the same surface as the inner surface of the recessed section of the guiding groove or to be embedded in the guiding groove and which protrudes between the pair of opposing clamping surfaces when the pair of clamping parts is closed to thereby maintain a fixed distance between the clamping surfaces.
