Abstract:

A thermal control skin capable of regulating equivalent emissivity by means of voltage and an application thereof in a spacecraft, wherein the thermal control skin comprises, from bottom to top, a base (1), an inner layer (2), an outer layer (3) and a protective layer (4), and spacers (5) are provided between the inner layer (2) and the outer layer (3). The spacers (5) cause a vacuum gap (6) having a pitch on the micro-nano level to form between the inner layer (2) and the outer layer (3). A metal-insulator-semiconductor structure is comprised in the inner layer (2) and/or the outer layer (3), and a direct-current adjustable voltage is loaded between the semiconductor and the metal in the structure. The protective layer (4) has high infrared emissivity or simultaneously has high infrared emissivity and low solar spectrum absorptivity. On one hand, the present thermal control skin has good adaptability to a space environment and solves the problem of the performance degradation of electrochromic materials due to direct exposure to the space environment. On the other hand, the skin may provide a larger emissivity regulation range and achieve the continuous and accurate regulation of emissivity in a large range, and may be applied to spacecrafts.
