Abstract:
[Problem] To eliminate measurement errors in the thickness direction in a thermophysical property measurement device that uses periodic-heating radiation thermometry. [Solution] A thermophysical property measurement device that uses periodic-heating radiation thermometry is provided with a heating laser beam irradiation means for periodically irradiating a sample with a laser beam at a frequency (f) and an infrared light condensing means for condensing infrared light radiated from a specific point on the sample that are disposed at opposing positions so as to sandwich the sample, and measures thermal diffusivity on the basis of the periodic temperature variation of the sample, said thermophysical property measurement device being characterized in that the thermophysical property measurement device is provided with an infrared optical fiber for guiding the infrared light condensed by the infrared light condensing means to a radiation thermometer and a control means for measuring the phase difference (θ) between the period of the temperature variation of the radiation thermometer and the period of the heating laser beam and calculating a thermal diffusivity from the phase difference (θ) and the frequency (f), the heating laser beam irradiation means is provided with a means for irradiating on an irradiation area corresponding to a circle having a maximum diameter of 300 µm, and the infrared light condensing means is provided with a condensing lens having a maximum diameter of 50 mm.
