Abstract:
A thermal energy storage device comprises a reservoir, an outer circumference casing that surrounds the entire reservoir with a space therebetween, and an obsidian perlite layer that is filled with obsidian perlite compacted into the space. A heating and cooling device comprises an obsidian perlite layer that is formed on the rear side and comprises compacted obsidian perlite, a heat transferring layer that is formed on the front side, and a passage space formed between the obsidian perlite layer and the heat transferring layer or a passage channel formed in the obsidian perlite layer, said passage space or passage channel being configured so that a cooling medium or a heating medium passes therethrough.
