Abstract:
Provided is a thermal flowmeter capable of reducing measurement errors when fluid pulsates more than those thus far. The flowmeter is provided with: a sub-passage 307 for taking in a portion of a gas 30 to be measured flowing in a main passage; and a flow measuring part 451 arranged in the sub-passage 307. The sub-passage 307 has: a first passage 351 disposed on a measurement surface 451a side of the flow measuring part 451; a second passage 352 disposed on a back surface 451b side of the flow measuring part 451; and an inclined passage 361 disposed more to the upstream side of the forward flow direction F of the gas 30 to be measured in the first passage 351 than an inlet 351a of the first passage 351. The inclined passage 361 has, more on the second passage 352 side than the flow measuring part 451, a first inclined surface 371 inclined towards the first passage 351 side from the second passage 352 side with respect to the forward flow direction F.
