Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to obtain a thermal flowmeter with which water droplets attached to a wall surface of a first passage are effectively directed toward a discharge port when fed into a third passage portion. The thermal flowmeter 300 of the present invention is provided with: an auxiliary passage into which a gas being measured 30 flowing along a main passage 124 is fed; and a flow rate detecting unit 602 which measures the flow rate of the gas being measured 30, by means of heat transfer with the gas being measured 30 that is flowing through the auxiliary passage. Furthermore, the auxiliary passage comprises a first passage 701, a second passage portion 702 which branches off midway along a first passage portion and leads toward the flow rate detecting unit 602, and a third passage portion 703 which branches off midway along the second passage portion and leads toward a third outlet 703b, and a pressure loss generating means 704a is provided between a third inlet 703a and the third outlet 703b of the third passage portion 703.
