Abstract:
This thermal image sensor (101) is provided with the following: a plurality of infrared-radiation detection elements (105a through 105f), each of which detects infrared radiation from a detection region; and rotors (104a through 104f) that scan the detection regions in a scanning direction in order to make the plurality of infrared-radiation detection elements detect infrared radiation from a region that is the subject of a single thermal image. The infrared-radiation detection elements (105a through 105f) include infrared-radiation detection elements (105a and 105b) that have different positions with respect to a direction of rotation. In the context of the layout of the infrared-radiation detection elements (105a through 105f), said direction of rotation corresponds to the abovementioned scanning direction.
