Abstract:
Provided is a thermal management system for a vehicle, the system comprising a main path (P0), a first branch (P1) and a second branch (P2). A braking system (2) and a first power source (1), which are connected in series to each other, are provided in the main path (P0), a battery (3) is provided in the first branch (P1), and electric motor assemblies (41, 42, 43, 44) are provided in the second branch (P2). The main path (P0) can be selectively in communication with at least one of the first branch (P1) and the second branch (P2), such that a fluid medium from the main path (P0) can be driven by the first power source (1) to flow through at least one of the first branch and the second branch and then return to the main path (P0). In this way, the heat generated by a braking system of a vehicle can be fully utilized, the waste of energy during the braking process of the vehicle is reduced, and the alleviation of the thermal degradation of the braking system is facilitated. Further provided is a working method of the thermal management system for a vehicle, which method can achieve the same effect.
