Abstract:
A thermal management system 1 is provided with: a first flow channel 10 in which cooling water can circulate; a radiator 12 which is provided in the first flow channel 10 and which cools the cooling water; a second flow channel 20 which branches off from the first flow channel 10 at a first branching part 11a and merges with the first flow channel 10 at a first merging part 11b and into which the cooling water that has passed through the radiator 12 can flow via the first branching part 11a; a heater 23 which is provided in the second flow channel 20 and which heats the cooling water; a heater core 24 which is provided downstream of the heater 23 in the second flow channel 20 and which heats air with the cooling water heated by the heater 23; a third flow channel 30 which branches off from the second flow channel 20 at a second branching part 21a located downstream of the heater core 24 and merges with the second flow channel 20 at a second merging part 21b located upstream of the heater core 24; and a switching unit 40 which is provided at the second branching part 21a and which switches the flow direction of the cooling water having passed through the heater core 24 to the first merging part 11b and/or the second merging part 21b.
