Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermal performance test method for a thermal barrier coating layer. The thermal performance test method for the thermal barrier coating layer provided to a component that operates under a high-temperature, high-pressure operating environment includes: a first step of exposing one surface of a metal mother material sample to high-temperature electricity and the other surface of the metal mother material sample to cold air to obtain a temperature gradient in a thickness direction thereof; a second step of exposing a surface of a coating layer of a coating layer sample to the high-temperature electricity and a surface opposite to the coated surface to the cold air to obtain a temperature gradient in a thickness direction thereof; a third step of calculating a temperature (Tf) of an outer surface of the coating layer and a temperature (Te) of a boundary surface of the coating layer by using the temperature gradient of the metal mother material sample obtained in the first step; and a fourth step of evaluating the thermal performance of the coating layer by using a difference (T△ = Tf - Te) between the temperature (Tf) of the outer surface of the coating layer and the temperature (Te) of the boundary surface of the coating layer. According to the present invention, since the shape of the boundary surface between the coating layer and the metal mother material and the effect of an adhesive of the coating layer are considered, accuracy and reliability of the thermal barrier performance evaluation may be improved.
