Abstract:
A thermal power generation unit of the present disclosure is equipped with a plurality of thermal power generation tubes. Each of the thermal power generation tubes has a flow path partitioned by the inner circumferential surface and is configured so as to generate an electromotive force in an axial direction by the difference between the temperatures at the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface. The thermal power generation unit includes: a container for housing the thermal power generation tubes inside; and a plurality of conductive members for electrically connecting the thermal power generation tubes. The container has: a fluid inlet for allowing a fluid to flow into the container and a fluid outlet; and a plurality of openings into which the respective thermal power generation tubes are inserted. In an embodiment, the thermal power generation unit is equipped with a buffer member that is provided between the fluid inlet and the thermal power generation tubes and changes the flow direction of the fluid flowing into the container from the fluid inlet.
