Title:
THERMAL RELIEF VALVE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/010036
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention is used for protection gas-supply systems in emergency. The inventive valve comprises a body (1) provided with an annular bore (3), and a through hole (4), a gate in the form of a ball (6) loaded with a spring (7) and provided with a thermosensitive lock (8). The lock (8) is arranged in the through hole (4) of the body. The rod of the lock (8) contacts the ball (6) in such a way that said ball is held eccentrically in an initial position with respect to the longitudinal axis (11) of a body size hole (5) with the aid of an arrest (10). The lock (8) is embodied in the form of a cylinder provided with thread on the outer surface thereof or of a threaded fitting. The cylinder and the fitting are provided with an annular shoulder embodied on the end surface thereof. The cylinder or the fitting enters the through hole (4) from the cavity (2) of the body (1), the shoulder being arranged in the annular bore (3). A thermosensitive balloon is disposed between the bottom of the locking cylinder and the free end of the rod. A cap is externally screwed on the body. The part of a locking fitting is closed with a small cap. The thermosensitive balloon is arranged between the bottom of the small cap and the free end of the rod. Said invention makes it possible to improve the productibility of the structural design of the valve and to reduce the production cost thereof.
