Abstract:
[Problem] To solve the problem that when, in cases where the layer configuration of a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet is simplified and a static charge prevention function is made to be borne by an ink-receiving layer or an adhesive layer, an attempt is made to improve the static charge prevention capability of the thermal transfer image-receiving sheet, interlayer separation happens to occur between unintended layers when, for example, a temporary fixing tape for securing an end of a small-winding thermal transfer image-receiving sheet in product form is separated. [Solution] A thermal transfer image-receiving sheet characterized by having a laminate (11) in which an adhesive layer, a heat-insulating layer, and an ink-receiving layer are laminated in order directly or via another layer on one surface of at least a supporting medium (6), and a static charge prevention layer provided on the other surface of the supporting medium (6), the concentration of aliphatic quaternary ammonium included in the ink-receiving layer being 0.3 to 2.6 wt% to the total weight of the ink-receiving layer, the concentration of aliphatic quaternary ammonium included in the adhesive layer being 3 to 30 wt% to the total weight of the adhesive layer.
