Abstract:
Provided are a thermally-curable resin composition that excels in insulating properties and that is for use in a rotating electrical machine and a rotating electrical machine comprising said thermally-curable resin composition. In a stator 20 of the rotating electrical machine wherein a stator coil 60 is disposed in a slot 15 of a stator iron core 21, the stator coil comprises a plurality of segment conductive bodies, the segment conductive bodies comprising an insulating coated portion covered with an insulating coating and a conductive exposure portion wherein conductive bodies are exposed, the segment conductive bodies bonded to other segment conductive bodies via the conductive exposure portion, wherein the stator coil of the rotating electrical machine is covered with the thermally-curable resin composition that comprises a photoinitiator, a thermal polymerization initiator, and an inorganic additive.
