Abstract:
A thermally sprayed coating for a sliding member according to the present invention comprises an iron-based alloy containing chromium (Cr). The content of the chromium is 8 mass% or more, and the thermally sprayed coating has a structure in which the average particle diameter of crystal grains is 3 μm or less, has a Vickers hardness of 300 Hv or more, and has excellent abrasion resistance.
