Abstract:
This thermoelectric conversion element (10) is provided with a stacked body provided with: a plurality of first thermoelectric conversion parts (13); a plurality of second thermoelectric conversion parts (11); and insulator layers (15). The first thermoelectric conversion parts (13) and the second thermoelectric conversion parts (11) are alternately arranged in the Y-axis direction. The first thermoelectric conversion parts (13) and the second thermoelectric conversion parts (11) are joined in areas of portions of surfaces of the first thermoelectric conversion parts (13) and the second thermoelectric conversion parts (11) in the Y-axis direction. The insulator layers (15) are interposed between the first thermoelectric conversion parts (13) and the second thermoelectric conversion parts (11) in other areas of the surfaces thereof in the Y-axis direction. The stacked body is provided with: a first main surface and a second main surface which are located at the two ends in the Y-axis direction; and two end surfaces in a direction orthogonal to the Y-axis direction. The insulator layers (15) cover the end surfaces of the second thermoelectric conversion parts (11).
