Abstract:
This thermoelectric conversion element comprises: a thermoelectric conversion material part formed of a material that includes a bandgap; a first electrode that is disposed in contact with the thermoelectric conversion material part; a second electrode that is disposed in contact with the thermoelectric conversion material part and separated from the first electrode; and a sealing part that seals the thermoelectric conversion material part. The partial pressure of oxygen in the region surrounding the thermoelectric conversion material part is maintained, by the sealing part, so as to be lower than the partial pressure of oxygen in the atmosphere.
