Abstract:
A thermoelectric conversion element that reduces thermal conductivity and achieves an extremely high conversion efficiency. The thermoelectric conversion element comprises: two magnetic material areas comprising a material containing a magnetic body; an intermediate area between the two magnetic material areas and having a lower thermal conductivity than the magnetic material areas; an electrode provided in the magnetic material areas; and a temperature difference-creating means that creates a temperature difference between the two magnetic material areas.
