Title:
THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/185852
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a thermoelectric conversion material which comprises a full Heusler alloy and with which the performance coefficient can be improved. In order to solve the above problem, provided is a thermoelectric conversion material comprising a full Heusler alloy represented by composition formula (Fe1-xM1x) 2+σ (Ti1-yM2y) 1+φ (A1-zM3z) 1+ω. In the Fe-Ti-A ternary phase diagram, the composition is within a hexagon formed by peaks at (50, 37, 13), (45, 30, 25), (39.5, 25, 35.5), (50, 14, 36), (54, 21, 25) and (55.5, 25, 19.5). Moreover, the amount of change ∆VEC in the average electron number VEC in terms of x = y = z = 0 satisfies 0 <│∆VEC│ < 0.2 or 0.2 <│∆VEC│< 0.3.
