Abstract:
Provided is a thermoelectric conversion module wherein stresses, which occur in thermoelectric conversion elements and in electrode parts during operation of the thermoelectric conversion module, can be relieved. In the thermoelectric conversion module: ceramic substrates each having metallic films on both surfaces thereof are used on a high temperature side and on a low temperature side; multiple P-type and N-type thermoelectric conversion elements are joined between the ceramic substrates; and some or all of the multiple P-type thermoelectric conversion elements and multiple N-type thermoelectric conversion elements are electrically connected in series. The thermoelectric conversion module is characterized in that the P-type thermoelectric conversion elements and the respective N-type thermoelectric conversion elements are paired and slits are formed in the ceramic substrate on the low temperature side only, or in the ceramic substrate on the high temperature side only, or in the ceramic substrates on both of the low and high temperature sides.
