Abstract:
A thermoelectric generator is provided with a tube (6) within which a first fluid flows, a power generation module (1), holding members (3, 4), and heat-exchange fins (5). The power generation module is internally provided with a thermoelectric conversion element. The power generation module and the tube are laminated to form a laminated body, and the holding member holds the power generation module and the tube so as to enable heat movement once dual outer-side regions (3a, 4a) that are positioned further outward than both end parts of the laminated body have been secured. The heat-exchange fins are provided on the holding members on the surfaces on the opposite side from the surfaces in contact with the power generation module, and are contacted by a second fluid of higher temperature than the first fluid. The heat-exchange fins include a pair of end-side fins (50, 150, 250) provided on both ends of the laminated body on the surfaces on the opposite side from the holding members, and medial fin parts (51, 151) provided between end-side fins and having higher rigidity than the end-side fins. The pressure where contact is made between the holding members and the thermoelectric conversion element can be made uniform in the thermoelectric generator.
