Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a thermoelectric material formed of a nanostructure, a thermoelectric element and an optical sensor using the same, and a method for producing the thermoelectric material formed of a nanostructure. The purpose of the present disclosure is to achieve improved thermoelectric properties in a thermoelectric material containing nanoparticles. The thermoelectric material contains a first material having a bandgap, and a second material that is different from the first material. The thermoelectric material is provided with multiple nanoparticles dispersed in a base material which is a mixture of the first material and the second material. The compositional makeup of the second material within the thermoelectric material is 0.01-2.0 atomic % of the thermoelectric material.
