Abstract:
Disclosed is a thermophotovoltaic device which is configured to maximize power generation efficiency while preventing the damage of a photovoltaic diode cell array. The disclosed thermophotovoltaic device comprises: a combustor which generates heat and light by combusting a fuel supplied through a fuel supply line; a photovoltaic diode cell array which is disposed on the top of the combustor so as to be separated therefrom and converts the light generated in the combustor to electric energy; and a light collecting member which has an insertion hole into which the combustor is inserted, and which reflects the light generated in the combustor to the photovoltaic diode cell array.
