Abstract:
Provided are: a thermoplastic composition (or a thermoplastic elastomer composition) that contains a thermoplastic elastomer, but has excellent melt fluidity (moldability or workability); a molded article of the thermoplastic composition; and a method for improving the melt fluidity of a composition. Formulated is a composition containing a thermoplastic elastomer, and a compound having a 9,9-bisarylfluorene backbone. For example, the thermoplastic elastomer may include at least one selected from polyurethane-based thermoplastic elastomers, polyester-based thermoplastic elastomers, and polyamide-based thermoplastic elastomers. The compound having the 9, 9-bisarylfluorene backbone may include a compound represented by formula (1). [In the formula, rings Z1 and Z2 each represent an aromatic hydrocarbon ring, R1, R2a, and R2b each represent a substituent, X1 and X2 each represent a group-[(OA)n-Y] (in the formula, Y represents a hydroxyl group or the like, A represents an alkylene group, and n represents zero or more) or the like, k represents 0-8, m1 and m2 each represent zero or more, and p1 and p2 each represent one or more].
