Abstract:
A resin composition which comprises: a thermoplastic cycloolefin resin comprising at least 70 wt.% repeating units having an alicyclic structure which is not a norbornane structure; a light stabilizer; and an ultraviolet absorber and/or an antioxidant as an optional ingredient. The composition is satisfactory in mechanical strength, elongation, chemical resistance, and weatherability and is useful especially as a film.
