Abstract:
A thermoplastic elastomer composition for foaming is provided which has sufficient foamability and gives a molded article having a satisfactory appearance.
The thermoplastic elastomer composition for foaming comprises: 10-40 wt.% partly or wholly crosslinked ethylene/α-olefin/unconjugated polyene copolymer rubber (A) obtained from ethylene, a C3-20 α-olefin, and an unconjugated polyene; 3-33 wt.% ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (B) obtained from ethylene and a C3-20 α-olefin; 10-40 wt.% polypropylene (C) having a melting point as measured by DSC of 40-170°C; 10-45 wt.% softening agent (D) for rubbers; and at least one member selected from 1-30 wt.% isotactic propylene polymer (E-a) and 1-20 wt.% syndiotactic α-olefin copolymer (E-b) (the total amount of the ingredients (A), (B), (C), (D), and (E-a) and (E-b) is 100 wt.%).
