Abstract:
The present invention is a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing (a) a thermoplastic elastomer, (b) a polyphenyline ether resin, and (c) a rubber softening agent, wherein: (a) includes (a1) and (a2) at a mass ratio of 90:10 to 45:55, (a1) being a block copolymer comprising a polymer block (X1) and a polymer block (Y1) and having a specific weight average molecular weight and a specific aromatic vinyl compound-derived structural unit content; (a2) is a block copolymer comprising a polymer block (X2) and a polymer block (Y2) and has a specific weight average molecular weight, a specific aromatic vinyl compound-derived structural unit content, and a specific vinyl binding content; the maximum long diameter of (b) dispersed in the matrix phase including (a) is 2 µm or less in a transmission electron microscopic image of the composition; and a JIS K 6253-compliant hardness (A) of the composition is 80 or less.
