Title:
THERMOPLASTIC FILM AND LAMINATED GLASS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/189784
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This thermoplastic film 10 comprises a light-emitting layer 11, wherein: the light-emitting layer 11 includes a thermoplastic resin and a light-emitting material that emits light due to being irradiated with excitation light; and when laminated glass obtained by bonding, via the thermoplastic film, two sheets of clear glass having a thickness of 2.5 mm based on JIS R 3211 (1998) is irradiated from one side with excitation light that can be absorbed by the light-emitting material in an amount of 7 mW/cm2, the difference (A - B) between the luminance A observed on the one-surface side and the luminance B observed on the other-surface side is 5 cd/m2 or greater. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide: a thermoplastic film that displays information with relatively high intensity on one surface, and displays the information with relatively low intensity on the other surface, when employed in laminated glass; and laminated glass comprising the thermoplastic film.
