Abstract:
A thermoplastic olefin elastomer composition which is obtained by dynamically heating 5 to 50 parts by weight of a polypropylene resin (A) and 50 to 95 parts by weight of an a-olefin copolymer (B) having a Mooney viscosity, ML¿1+4? (100 °C), of 60 to 250 in the absence of any crosslinking agent. It is characterized in that the glass transition temperature attributable to the resin (A) is lower than the glass transition temperature of the resin (A) alone and that the copolymer (B) is at least one member selected between the following (b-1) and (b-2). (b-1) An ethylene/$g(a)-olefin copolymer having an ethylene content of 51 to 60 mol%. (b-2) A propylene/$g(a)-olefin copolymer having a propylene content of 60 to 90 mol%.
