Abstract:
Provided is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer resin composition for foam molding, which contains 0.05-9.5 parts by mass of a crystal nucleating agent (B) and 0-4.5 parts by mass of a thickening agent (C) relative to 100 parts by mass of a thermoplastic polyester elastomer (A) in which a hard segment comprising a polyester containing an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and an aliphatic and/or alicyclic diol as constituent components is bonded to at least one type of soft segment selected from among an aliphatic polyether, an aliphatic polyester and an aliphatic polycarbonate. The content of soft segments in the thermoplastic polyester elastomer (A) is 45-90 mass%, and the crystal nucleating agent (B) is an alkali metal salt of an organic carboxylic acid having 3-40 carbon atoms. The composition is suitable for forming a polyester elastomer molded foam body which is lightweight, exhibits high resilience and flexibility, and has a uniform foamed state despite having a high expansion ratio.
