Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a thermoplastic resin composition can be provided, which comprises a thermoplastic resin and an aromatic carbonate oligomer (A) that is served as a compounding ingredient and has a preset number for n of 3 or more and less than 15 or has an average of the number of repeating units of 2 to 6 as determined by a mass spectrometry by a field desorption mass spectrometry (FD-MS). According to another embodiment of the present invention, a compounding ingredient which is added to a thermoplastic resin for the purpose of reducing the birefringence of the thermoplastic resin composition is provided, the compounding ingredient comprising an aromatic carbonate oligomer (A) that has a preset number for n of 3 or more and less than 15 or has an average of the number of repeating units of 2 to 6 as determined by a mass spectrometry by a field desorption mass spectrometry (FD-MS).
