Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a thermoplastic resin composition capable of forming plating under a wide range of laser conditions while maintaining high platability (plating appearance) and further capable of achieving high permittivity and low dielectric loss tangent in a high frequency band, and to provide a molded article, a method for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin composition, and a method for manufacturing a plated molded article. [Solution] A thermoplastic resin composition containing (A) 10-90 mass% of a thermoplastic resin, (B) 1-20 mass% of a laser direct structuring additive, and (D) 0.3-7.0 mass% of graphite, wherein: the total amount of the component (A), the component (B), and a component (C) does not exceed 100 mass%; and the mass ratio of the component (B)/the component (D) is 1.0-20.
