Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a thermoplastic resin formed from a fluorene derivative. This invention is a thermoplastic resin comprising 30 mol% or more of repeating units derived from 9,9-bis(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl)fluorene. The thermoplastic resin comprises 100 ppm or less of the phenylene vinyl ether represented by the following formula (1).
