Abstract:
A thermoresponsive composition that contains microcapsules that encapsulate: a coloring pigment A that is the product of reacting an electron-donating uncolored dye precursor A and an electron-accepting compound A that causes electron-donating uncolored dye precursor A to become colored; and a discoloration-temperature regulator. The thermoresponsive composition also contains, on the outside of the microcapsules, an electron-donating uncolored dye precursor B and an electron-accepting compound B that causes electron-donating uncolored dye precursor B to become colored. The thermoresponsive material contains, in a thermophotosensitive layer, the microcapsules, electron-donating uncolored dye precursor B, and electron-accepting compound B.
